Squires Estate is a collection of six immaculately restored
Nineteenth century houses on an idyllic hillside set above
Governor's Harbour covering two separate properties, which are a
one minute walk from each other. Part of the Bahamian Heritage of
Historical Buildings, the properties recreate life in the old style
Bahamian tradition but with all the modern amenities.
With gorgeous views of Cupid's Cay, the estate is located near
the powdery pink sands of French Leave beach and just down the hill
from retail amenities in Governor's Harbour. The Estate offers a
wide range of accommodation. One property consists of Belmont
House and two separate guests cottages called 'The
Cottage' and 'The Junior Cottage' that
are all laid out on more than an acre of beautiful gardens,
situated at the top of Buccaneer Hill. The second property, few
steps down, covers an acre and a half of tropical gardens and
consists of three houses, Mrs. Russel's House, The Stone
House and Toad's Hall.
The Estate is private, discreet, well appointed with the best of
quality facilities and décor. Mrs. Russel's House and Toad's Hall
have access to the 'infinity pool' with panoramic views of
Governor's Harbour, Cupid's Cay, Levy Island and the Caribbean.
